Our Team
Mosaix Ventures was founded by Ranjan Lal and Germano Giuliani. Together, Mr. Lal and Mr. Giuliani manage all aspects of the Fund.
Mr. Lal is the General Partner and manages the day-to-day activities of the Fund. Prior to founding Mosaix Ventures in 2000, Mr. Lal was a senior investment professional with Vector Fund Management and UBS O'Connor for eight years where his responsibilities included healthcare investing in private and public equities respectively. Prior to this, Mr. Lal worked in management consulting with McKinsey & Company for five years.
Mr. Lal received his MBA from the University of Chicago, and MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and the Indian Institute of Technology respectively. Mr. Lal has served on numerous private companies Boards and currently serves as a Director with Argo Tea, GenomeQuest, KnowledgeAdvisors and Nirvana Solutions.
Mr. Giuliani is the Chief Executive Officer of Giuliani S.p.A., a leading gastroenterology-focused biopharmaceutical franchise, and is active in an advisory capacity.
